IKEA US and IKEA Canada make a Flurry of Store Opening Annoucements
In just the last week, IKEA US announced the opening date for the first IKEA in the Carolinas, IKEA Charlotte, (February 18, 2009), named the manager of the new IKEA Tampa Bay location (Monica Valera), and stated that the Tampa IKEA will be the largest IKEA in Florida (353,000 square feet). And long-standing rumors have finally been answered about an IKEA in Winnipeg, Canada - IKEA Canada announced that they will be opening the largest IKEA in Canada in Winnipeg, Manitoba, British Columbia between late 2011 and 2013.
