Need help with FRAMTID HOO K10 S extractor fan!!

Just getting to grips with my new FRAMTID HOO K10 S extractor hood. Two gripes (unless anybody can convince me otherwise) - firstly there appears to be no exit point for the power cable. The flue sits snug to the wall so how does the cable escape? Secondly, the the exhaust outlet terminates in a collar whose o/d is 119mm. I thought the standard outlet in UK fitted 100mm flexible hose. Do IKEA sell adaptors?

David, I'm going to retitle your post (I'm a big fan of the payoff title like this, but in this instance you actually want help so I think we should be more direct!) and move it to appliance discussions.
