Where to mount the Hjuvik tap??
I have numerar solid oak counter top with a Emsen 1 1/2 bowl. My question is where do I place the Hjuvik(small version), into the counter top or into the sink using the ikea tool. I would prefer if poss to mount it in the counter top as it would be more stable as apose to the sink where I can invisige some slight movement giving it a cheap feel.

Welcome, Simon.

You can very well mount the tap on the countertop, as all the new Boholmen sinks have one doing. IIRC, all the older Emsen sinks had a back ledge.

Just make sure the oak is well protected around the faucet ... it will get wet.
