I am the proud owner of three new OMAR wine racks which I think are very cool, and they assemble quite easily after you get the hang of doing it.

My question is this: Does anyone have, or know how to get, additional shelves and clips for this unit? I have discovered that while the rack comes with 6 shelves (accommodating 24 bottles), there is actually room in the 36-inch height for NINE shelves. I have assembled one of these with three additional shelfs from one of the other units just to confirm. Now I am faced with buying another unit just to get the shelves and clips, unless someone knows how to get just the shelves and clips separatey.

Any ideas?

I have extra shelves (at least 3) ... not sure on how many extra clips, however. Worse comes to worse, ask if customer service has extra clips.

(Ask customer service if they have extra shelves too ... sometimes they might in the backroom.)

Thanks for the ideas, Narf! I haven't talked to Ikea about this at all, other than a frustrating attempt to find such parts on the website.

Glad to know you have a few racks, but I fear the expense of getting them up to Washington might be more than they are worth. I still consider the easiest solution is probably to buy another entire rack; after all, most of the content is the racks and clips so even if I throw away the legs that is not too bad!

This is my first attempt at asking a question on IkeaFans, and I have to say I am impressed that I got a response so quickly. Thanks for the great introduction!
