I searched the threads here and see a lots of red flags regarding Robert Jalo. I see a few comments about Richard Castanon, all positive. Does anyone have any other recos for LA area installers or any warnings about Richard?

We used Michael Kaake construction and they did a good job. They were referred by Ikea. They were also able to do some modifications that I wanted with no problems.

If you are close to Carson I believe he is your guy, in the Valley it's Richard Castanon. Either way, your kitchen department has their information and price sheet on hand.

We've heard Richard Castanon is "o.k." but hard to get along with. My neighbor used Michael Kaake and was really impressed. I think he handles Orange County and LA

Richard and his crew were some of the nicest and friendliest people I've ever met

We used Michael Kaake last June and we recently had some warranty issues with one of our doors. They came back and re-installed the doors at no charge and within a quick time frame also.

That's good to hear. I hadn't heard anything good about Castanon before
