Well, having finally received the mythical Domsjo double sink, I realize that I have already screwed up by over-zealously putting my sink base together weeks ago.
So, that is not the end of the world to detach it from its neighbor, take it apart, and put it back together w/ the support bars(despite what hubby says)...
My question is: the Domsjo installation pamphlet makes it look a bit like you don't put the back panel on the sink cabinet... True? or an optical illusion?

catmom,
My sink cab has no back panel, and I can't remember why, except that I thought it was because I screwed something up and then had to remove it. In any case, it's not there, and it is not a problem at all - - so far, anyway. Yes, you can see bare plaster back there (just barely past all my sink cab stuff), but really, it doesn't seem to matter.

My brother went ahead and installed the panel, although I also got the impression it was not required.

thanks, ladies! I guess it probably doesn't really matter one way or the other... we actually have a log wall behind it, so it might be nice to open the cabinet and see pretty logs!
