I purchased a set of BESTA shelving units (this one) that I plan to wall mount above a desk area. I want to provide some under-cabinet lighting to shine on the desks so I also purchased the white DIODER multipurpose lights (this one).

Anyone have a suggestion how to best wire the lighting so that the wires stay hidden? When I knock on the BESTA frame, it seems to be kinda hollow sounding. So my initial thoughts are to to drill a hole and thread the wiring through the body.

UPDATE (11/20/2007) - I found out the hard way that the BEST frame is NOT hollow. It's has a honeycomb structure inside.

did you try drilling through the honeycomb ?

I sort of "drilled" through the honeycomb. I drilled through the wood facade, but the honeycomb part gave my drill a hard time. So I ended up punching through the honeycomb part with a long metal object.
