Question OLDER MODEL WOODEN FUTON BASE

Hello, i'm looking for assembly instructions on an older model of wooden base futon. It's not GRANKULLA but older. It was given to me with no instructions .
It has 4 pieces of woods on each 3 parts, one has tiny legs ( i think this one goes on the front), and the other one has bigger legs and i think this one goes in the back but when i try to put them together, the middle piece doesn't go under so i can close it into a couch!

thanks

sylvyie

Hi sylvye,

Welcome to IKEAFans.

Have you looked in the IKEApedia (see link in the top blue bar) for potential instructions? I am really bad w/identifying products by name so I'm not even going to attempt to figure out which bed you have. LOL

Welcome to IKEAFANS!

Have you ever seen it assembled, or better yet do you have a picture of it assembled? If so, we can figure out the name and from there, get the instructions.

Susan

I wish i had a picture, when i went to get it, the futon was already in pieces and it looked easy to put up the lady didn't have the instructions anyways !

maybe i'll try to take pictures of the 3 pieces with my daughter's cell phone in the hopes that somebody recognise it!

thanks

Pictures are always helpful! I'm going to move your post out of Swaps and Exchanges so that hopefully more eyeballs that are looking to help with assembly will see it.

Re: OLDER MODEL WOODEN FUTON BASE

did you ever find instruction or what the futon is called? I think I have the same one and am in the exact same boat. I managed to screw various parts together to create a couch but can't fold it into a bed.

Same here, I think I have the same one, it is all together except for joining the three pieces into one - I just cant seem to get it in the right position where the nuts and bolts fit
