Hi all!

I have a queen size bed, brand new, which has a crossbeam and two sets of wooden slats. On the left side of the bed, everything's fine. However, on the right side if you move around a little, the slats will somehow slip under the metal rail, obviously causing problems. Has anyone else had this problem/know what to do? The rails are screwed in properly and it has the four diagonal support bars.

We had this issue with a queen sized Malm bed - the slats (Lien) were constantly falling to the floor - very annoying.

I went to IKEA and spoke with the Ikean there who told me that once in a while they receive the odd set of slats that is about 1/4" shorter than the rest and customers bring them back to the store.

I suggest measuring the exact width of your slats and going back to the store to check the rest of them. If it's a bit short, you can just get a refund and get new ones like we did.
