Does anyone know of any matches for the medium brown cabinets. I am looking to apply adge banding to the 5/8" plywood sub counter under my granite.

Chris, the best product that matches is made by FastCap (FastCap). It is called FastEdge. The best match for Adel Medium Brown is Fuji Cherry. Part number FE.WP. 3/4-50. FC for a 3/4" 50' roll. Make sure you get the laminate trimmer and roller with it. I think it is about 0.75-$1 per foot. You can't order it direct but they will give you the name of a local distributor.
I know they have Oak products also but have never used any of them.
I just got edgebanding to match Adel Med. Brown from a company called Edge It. It is the Bourbon Cherry by Fast edge. The Edge it company was really awesome. I sent them a small piece of cover panel and a gentleman named Kieth Rowe matched it for me. I highly recommend this company. Has anyone matched Nexus Yellow Brown yet? I just ordered some samples from Fastcap which ikitchensetc recommended (thanks!). The samples I'm getting are from their prefinished wood veneer line. Hopefully'll I'll find a match. I'll keep you posted, but if anyone else finds a match, please let us all know. Thanks!

I'm hopng to use the method Torrus recommended by chopping off 1/8th inch of my door's edge and then glueing back on. but if it doesn't work i'll need it too so please let me know how your results pan out for NYB

I just received swatches from FastCap! I think the Prefinished Teak is pretty much a perfect match for Nexus Yellow Brown color-wise and the grain is very similar. Their edge banding product is called FastEdge and it is peel & stick (not iron on). I think I'm going to use this to edge all my white cabinet boxes to prevent the problem of the white showing through the cracks. I think it will also give the cabinets a more high-end/custom look.

Turns out I need this too.....the doors we cut down to fit my fridge haver rough edges on the bottom and my contractor was going to try and stain veneer himself.
Maybe we can just use what you bought. Where in NYC did you get it?

FastCap referred me to Manhattan Laminates (212-255-2522) and Ever Ready Hardware (718-388-6240). I was going to call on Monday to see if either place carries the prefinished Teak in stock. If not, FastCap said that the stores could special order it for me from them. Unfortunately, FastCap does not sell directly to consumers.
