4 holes on top and bottom of wall cab--why?
i'm starting with the smallest thing first--a 12 inch wall cabinet. what are these holes for ? there is a rabbet on the rear of both side panels, and i understand the rabbet is there for the back panel . bit if i were to put the top and bottom on so the rabbet faced the inside of the cabinet, to also accept the back panel----the bottom of the cabinet (exterior) would have 4 large exposed holes. do i have a wrong piece, or are the holes there for something ? are the bottoms of all my wall cabinets supposed to have 4 holes in them ? or alternatively, if i had the holes facing the interior, why would i have the rabbets exposed on the top and bottom ? i don't mind pictographic instructions, but they've got to do a MUCH better job at SPECIFIC details in the drawings. the drawings don't really illustrate the rabbets, or much of anything.
