I bought a IKEA Prioritet (no longer made) table in 2003 and now I need to adjust the legs. The instructions are long gone. The leg I tried to adjust by rotating the lower teloscoping part of the leg counterclockwise. It loosened but now it won't tighten back after I set the height. Is there a trick to this because I'm just not getting it?

The adjustment mechanism is kind of touchy - you need to maneuver it carefully in order for it to work properly. I think this "touchiness" was a factor in the Prioritet line being taken out of range.

I have a 31 x 31 Prioritet table I'm selling, and just checked out the leg adjustment. You should just be able to turn ONE way to loosen & extend/contract the length, and turn the OPPOSITE way to tighten and solidify the length. They adjust in exactly the same way as the "A" legs of the Galant system. I have those instructions (Galant), and am happy to fax that page to you if you provide fax number.
