I see there is 27.5" door for the Pax,

That would leave 51.75" for drawers in a 79.25 high frame or 70.625" for drawers in 93.125 high frame.

The exterior drawers are 6.75 or 13.75.

I am not sure how tall the top or bottom is, but I would like the maximum amount of small drawers (6.75 high) with maybe one large drawer (13.75 high).

Anyone ideas?

The 27.5" door is for the base/wall cabinet technically. I haven't seen anyone try to use it in the wardrobes yet, but maybe I missed it. I'd love to hear about it though since I was mulling something like this for the garage.

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure it is possible after many caculations with both heights, I sitll find there is 1" or more gap. Was really hoping to use PAX because I need around 40 inches wide. Besta configuration would be 48, could use 24" and a 15" Kitchen cabinet but it wouldn't be symmetric.

Maybe someone has tried though?

It could be done with a filler. You could use a shelf and rip a piece out to make a filler somewhere like the bottom where it would be least noticeable. I'm planning on tackling my project this fall after it cools off a bit in the garage.

I just uploaded a photo of my Pax with 4 exterior drawers. Thought I uploaded it to this thread, but it went out onto the gallery.
