Hi everybody,

Can someone tell me why the (Nexus) doors on my upper corner cabinets are too narrow?



At first I thought I'd used the wrong hinges or maybe the hinges needed to be adjusted, but then I noticed daylight on both sides of the door. The gap is pretty slight on the hinged side as compared to the handled side but it's there nonetheless. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do?

This isn't an unusual problem and it has a simple fix...there's a very large plastic "button" that you need to use as a bumper for the door.

Thanks. I'll check it out tonight when I get home.

Can you tell me if the corner cabinets are supposed to have special hinges? My husband said they do (and that is why the dampers won't clip onto them) but they look the same as the hinges on the other doors to me. I just want to be sure he installed them correctly.

The corner wall cabinet does have special hinges - they come with the cabinet.

Okay. I just measured them and they're actually longer than the other hinges so I feel better now. Thanks.
