My wife and I just bought a house, moved our Ikea guest bed there, and in the confusion lost a very hard to find part(and difficult to describe, so bear with me).

The part is a small, flat-ended, barbell shaped metal piece(could also be described as a wheel) that acted as a double hook to hold up the middle supportbar of the bed. It would fit into a 1/4th inch cube. There were 4 of them, and now we only have 1.

We visited the Ikea in our area, but, since it is from an older bed, even the most experienced assembler didn't know what it was...and the part drawers had nothing like it. We tried a couple of hardware stores, but no luck(and Google searches just led me here). I know I've seen it before somewhere, though.

If anyone could help us to either identify the part(so we can find it), or better yet, tell us where to find one, we would be deeply grateful! Otherwise, our guests will be flooring it until we can afford a new bed. I'll upload a photo soon, if I can get a good one of it.

Thanks,

.stephen.

Missing Barbell pieces

Hi,

I moved and need the exact same pieces. Went to my local IKEA and had nothing like it and were less than helpful.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to get these pieces
