What is the best way to secure base cabinets to floor when creating kitchen peninsula?

Our design has a wine fridge/beverage center as last unit that requires a side panel. Since Ikea does not make base unit for this application, what is the best way to secure side panel and top counter?

When installing ovens into oven cabinet, is the applad panel and hardware applied after installation of appliances?

Thanks susan. Hopefully we will get this straightened out. It has been a disaster with mostly Ikea and now our contractor.

To support the countertop over a wine fridge (or dishwasher) at the end of a cabinet run you need either the 30x40" oven panel (which is then cut to size) or part of a 3x8' panel (also cut to size). On an island (or peninsula) you need a similar panel across the back to cover the cabinets and appliance - these two panels are then joined with L brackets, also the side panel should be attached to the floor and countertop using the same brackets.

If your wall oven (with side trim) covers the entire face of the oven cabinet you can install the filler after the oven is in place, otherwise you need to cut an opening into the panel (get the exact dimensions from the installation instructions), attach the panel first and then install the oven.
