While my son was assembling a Malm 6-drawer dresser in birch finish (the one with the two small drawers on top) he damaged two of the drawers. I need two drawer fronts 31 5/8"? (the long drawers) and four new wooden pegs (which were pounded into the wrong holes and will not come out without cracking off). I will take the suggestion of my IKEA customer service rep. and go look in the "As Is" section for the parts I need, but I'm not very hopeful. Does anyong know how I can go about getting these pieces without spending too much money?:?

Pegs should be no problem. You can get them in your IKEA's customer service department -- often there's a parts desk. If not, check the bins, or stand in the lines for returns and ask. I'd ask there for the drawer fronts as well, although I think you'll have a harder sell. AS-IS is a good possibility.

As is asking here. You never know what people might have lying around...

Good luck, and welcome to the forums!
Susan
