OK, I have the cabinet built, have the oven panel, the 6 brackets, and to shelves. Is there something I am missing to support the (very heavy) oven? There is no way I trust those 6 little 1" shelf holders for 135lbs of oven.

Is there some metal bracket I am missing or something?

There should be a heavy duty shelf for the oven, with special inserts that spread the load, and you should have "oven pegs" as I fondly refer to them. They look like this:

Does that help?

Yep, those are the 1" pegs, but can they really hold that much between the six of them? My last in-wall cab had full metal supports anchored 12 times.

The six 'pegs' and shelf will support 300+ lbs.

L brackets with oven cab?

Hi there, I am putting my 88" oven cab together and understand the extra shelves/pegs...but I also have (in the main oven cab hardware kit) 6 L-shaped brackets with two holes on either side. Am I to assume that this is what you screw the oven into the cab with? thank you! Tamara

Hi! Someone who's actually put one of these together may correct me, but I believe they are to hold the "oven panel" that is used for filler around the oven(s) on the front of the cabinet frame. Don't ask me how you're supposed to attach them.

Hope that answers at least half of your question...

Susan

Susan is correct - those "L" brackets are for attaching the oven panel to the cabinet.

Your oven will attach to the cabinet through the frame of the oven itself - refer to the instructions that come with the panel.

Yup, the 6 brackets hold the oven panel to the frame of the oven cabinet. The brackets that hold the oven in the opening come with your oven. Those brackets (that come with the oven) simply keep the oven from tipping toward you when you open the oven door. 97% of the oven's support is from the oven shelf.
