Maybe this should be in the translation forum... the video says that it is easiest to install the drawer slides on the box before putting it together, but in the different drawer installation booklets I cannot for the life of me figure out which holes the slides should actually go in for the three-drawer base. The booklets for the two different drawer sizes that go in these contradict each other. Any ideas... am I looking in the wrong place? Do I need to do this trial-and-error once the drawers themselves are put together?

If you are using the one shallow drawer/two deep drawer base, then the shallow drawer goes in the fourth hole. The deep drawers go into holes 12 and 22. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. We just did a three drawer stack and so far, so good.

Thanks for the reply - we ended up putting the drawers together to figure it out. We initially put the top slide in the fourth hole and the top drawer would not fit. I kept thinking maybe we put the drawer front on wrong but the directions clearly show that the little do-hickey that you screw to the door front is closer to the top than the bottom. It seemed wrong but that's how we did it. And then moved the slide to the third hole and it seems to work. I'll check again...


Edited to add - I just checked the drawer instructions from this website, and they are definitely different from the ones that we have as far as orientation of the drawer front... I will switch it aroundand see if it works.


Edited again to add - OK, right now I am very angry at whoever wrote these cryptic directions, but it works in the 4th hole if I put the drawer front on according to the directions here and not the ones we have.
