I've just started assembling my IKEA kitchen.

On one of the instruction pages I saw the following note:

"A stone slabe can't be fixed with screws to the frame. AKURUM partition rail must be used. See separate instruction"

What is an AKURUM partition rail? Is this a separate piece that I needed to have ordered?

The partition rail is used to support the drawer divider in the 30 and 36" 4 drawer set-ups.

It has nothing to do, per se, with installing a granite top, but it would keep the front rail supported and against the top when it is installed. If you don't have the 30/36 drawer set, you wouldn't have the rail.

I do have the partition rail, I just didn't know what that piece was called.
