Hi everyone!

My kitchen installation is going well but I am noticing that one of my drawers in my 30" base cabinet is slow and sticks when you pull it out. No problems with the other drawers, just this one top 15"!

Any advice on what to check or do to make it smoother?

Thanks!

Have you removed it and reinstalled it? Sometimes the wheels don't get in the tracks quite right. Empty the drawer, pull it out all the way, lift it up slightly and then pull toward you, then move it down and it should come out.

When reinstalling it, make sure the wheels get on the tracks, hold the drawer at about a 25 degree angle upwards to get them set correctly, then straighten out and push all the way in. It should work fine.

The other problem you might have is dust on the runners, if you've had a lot of dust in the house from construction it could have gotten in there. Vacuum them out.

Also, you may have inadvertently installed the slide over a connection screw to the adjoining cabinet. This will throw the slide out of alignment causinga tight squeeze.

Good Luck!
