Dede4wd kindly passed along a DVD from IKEA that walks through the IKEA Installation process to me as we began our IKEA journey. Now that we rounding the final corner on completing our kitchen, I would like to pass the favor on and send it to another IKEA Kitchen newbie!

The video was so valuable to Dh and I since we were both a little perplexed (and mortified) about the complete d-i-y kitchen process before us. It doesn't get into some of the nitty gritty details (that's what the great resources here at IKEAfans are for!) but it does lay out the step by step process in a simple, "hey-I-can-do-that" way.

I need to go to the post office Tuesday/Wednesday of next week and will gladly package it up and send it off to someone. Just PM me with your address. Since there's just one, it will be go to whoever PMs me first.

(Note - at one point these were available at the local IKEA's - but all the one's I have visited don't seem to have them. Anyone know if they've stopped making theses available in-store?)

but may I suggest passing it on to Susan (or other IKEAFANS moderator) so that there is one control copy in hand. That way, if anyone else wants one they can ask for a copy from IKEAFANs?

I know I would have appreciated it last month when we couldn't find one. I would have gladly spent $5 for a copy.

We do have a copy posted (clicking this link will initialize the streaming video) - it's a bit buried now with the new format. I'll make a link at the top of the Installation and Assembly forum, as well as the Kitchen Planning forum to be sure it's well known. We also have a copy on disk that can be duplicated and mailed out if that is more desirable. Hold on to your copy so that you can mail directly - no sense doubling the postage.
