I have a 39 inch Perfekt End Wall Unit that will go on the end of my wall cabinets next to an Akurum unit. I can see that I will use four provided screws to go from the Akurum into the Perfekt to join them together. My question is about going from the Perfekt into the wall. The direction picture says that I should attatch it to the wall using two not provided screws near the top of the unit in two not pre-dilled holes.

Anyone with any experience with this have any advice or ideas? I take it what I need to do is to drill some holes in the unit and then match that up with my wall, then drill into the wall, and then screw it all in.

Also, will the two holes at the top be enough to support it or should I put in a couple more at the bottom.

Many thanks in advance!

Cheers,

jm

The end unit should be attached to the cabinet through the side, starting from inside the cabinet and going through the cabinet side and then through (but not all the way through) the side of the end unit.

You will have to drill a hole or two to secure it on the back. Make sure you start the hole from the FACE of the end unit, rather than the back, because if you come through the face from the back you will likely chip the veneer.

Many thanks. I can report that my end unit is hanging (at least for the moment) and it does feel quite secure.
