Hello eveyone, I'm brand new to IKEAFANS so please bear with me if I goof up. I have a very specific question and I hope I'm posting it in the correct forum. I have an Ikea dresser that I bought way back in late 1998 or early 1999. I bought it in New Jersey and assembled it there. I love it, but a couple of the drawer glides became damaged. I would like to replace them. I've found bunches of drawer glides (or "slides") on the internet for sale but don't know what kind I should get. I heard somewhere that Ikea uses Blumotion glides but I don't know whether that was true 8 or so years ago. Can anyone help? Point me in the right direction, maybe? Thanks. -Polly

Hi Polly! Probably, for a dresser. you have typical slide/glides used for dressers or drawers. The main thing you need to worry about is the depth (front to back) of your slides/glides and the fact that IKEA stuff is usually metric as opposed to Imperial/English measurements in the US. I would think that instead of trying to replace your drawer runners with anything matching what you have, you should just try to find something that fits and works in your situation.
