bed slat question

i just purchased a SULTAN LILLÅKER Slatted bed base and it came without instructions. I think i have it all figured out exept for the five adjustable pieces. My question is do the arc oppose each other or dose the smaller one nestle under the longer one and is it suppost to be firm with the slides in or out? Thanks in advance for any help you can give

Re: bed slat question

if you mean the five pairs (each pair is one long and one shorter board) of boards that are kept together by white plastic things, they have to fit each other, i.e. the arcs should face the same way (up).

The white plastic things should be put on either side of those five pairs and you can move them closer to each other or further away from each other to make the slat harder or softer.

Re: bed slat question

I, on the other hand, would like to know something in general about bed frames. Do they rest on the rail in the centre of the bed or are they supposed to arc over it?
