Nice work! Very, very nice! I'm working on an article for the homepage - watch for it this next week!

Chuck - OK if I give it the Chuck Seal of Approval officially?

The picture I have of you has your upside down side, and your better side.

But if you think to the IKEA standard fixings (excluding USA rails method).. I suppose my method is much safer
I cannot really evaluate, if this solution is safer and I don't like those plastic suspension IKEA delivers, but you have to consider, that the IKEA thingy grasps at the top behind the "solid" part of the board.
A cabinet that's attached to the wall exerts at the suspension mainly a force rectangular to the wall.

What I used is fixed to the side with two screws, one very tight on full wood, one only in the mdf panel of the side; vertically the weight is "discharged" also on the top and on the back side.. so the rectangular force falls on many parts of my fixing, then I have a better weight distribution over the cabinet parts (top, side, back) than the ikea standard fixings.
Only the time will give the reply

Re: Besta hanging.. I am going to try my solution!

Welcome to IKEAFANS, Phooee.

Thanks for the link - the Besta rail has been in and out of range at IKEA US stores since they introduced the line. The problem for posters like ExTrEmE is that it's never been available in Europe.
