How to choose correct Rationell drawer?
Hello, newbie here, I've scoured the existing threads looking for an answer to my question, couldn't find one, so I'm sorry if one exists and this is a duplicate.
I have Ikea kitchen cabinets and want to install a Rationell deep fully-extending drawer, but I'm not sure what size to buy.
The inside width of the cabinet is roughly 28.5" but the closest size available seems to be 24".
Additionally, the doors to this cabinet don't open all the way, and so the true opening is somewhere between 27-3/4" and 28".
I'd be very grateful for help. Thanks!

Re: How to choose correct Rationell drawer?
A 24" drawer fits into a 24" cabinet. So you need a 30" drawer. If you want to use the drawer behind a door, you need the 153° hinges for the door.

Re: How to choose correct Rationell drawer?
You need a 30" deep drawer which unfortunately doesn't exist. You can get a shallow one (it comes with an 30" oven cabinet). Some people (myself included) have made custom fronts. Just search "30" deep drawer"

Re: How to choose correct Rationell drawer?
There are, indeed, 30" deep drawer bodies, but there aren't any 30" interior drawer fronts. Those are the ones which can be made, however.

Peacenik, you also need to get 153 degree hinges so the drawer will pull out.

Re: How to choose correct Rationell drawer?
Chuck is absolutely correct. My mistake! The hardware exists but the fronts do not (at least from IKEA).

Re: How to choose correct Rationell drawer?
IKEAFANS members JWright and Kayla have both posted tutorials on how to create these fronts.
