found my bins for trash pullout

Two 27 quart baskets should fit the 15" pullout I'm using for trash and recycling. They even have a lidded single basket that I think would fit a 12" pullout.

Yay!

I know that I struggled with finding a pullout for my 15" pantry to hold my mounds of recycling weekly.

Good find. Thanks for the link.

Measure twice, don't order the wrong thing.

Well, I was wrong. Two 12" square trash cans won't fit in a drawer that's 20" deep. At this point I don't know if I'm going to return them or spend another $80 or so for the rack that's supposed to hold them and not try to use the IKEA drawer for my pullout. I'm not real thrilled with either idea at the moment.

liz, take a look at my trash pull out mod... i fit 2 in mine, but i think they might be 11.5"

i've got a thread someplace describing it (prolly in mods) but don't have time to fish it out....
i don't know if that helps, but thought it wouldn't hurt to chime in

Thanks, Dulci. We were trying to avoid buying the rack that your trash cans sit in. As it is, we've decided that these 2 work OK ~if ~ they are slightly stacked in the deep drawer. That is the front lip of the back basket sits over the back lip of the front basket. The extra height of deep drawer back adds a bit of extra support, holding the back basket in place. I took a pic, but can't find the cord for downloading to my computer... Ever have one of those days where you wish you could have just stayed in bed?

that's not a rack, that is 1x4 and 1x6 el cheapo pine... i paid 16$ for the glides (2sets since i did a 30") and a couple bucks for the pine and then i had 2x2 laying around that i used to fill in the gaps and create a tighter space...

but glad you found a fix
