I just got my first door installed following the steps from FAQ (thanks, Susan) and pictures from the package. I noticed that there are no screws used on the door, but there are 2 holes pre-drilled.

If no screws are supposed to be used, why2 holes?

You don't need the holes because the hinges are pressure-fitted, there's a little gasket there that expands when you close the little door on the hing. Hinges for other door-ed items don't use the same ones that the kitchen does. I would venture a guess that their door-hinge-hole-maker machine automatically puts screw holes there, and to change it to not do it just for kitchen was cost prohibitive.

The two holes are there to properly align the hinge when installing it into the door.
