I have a question about the AVSIKT rolltops... I would like to place these on a counter directly, without the bottom portion of the box.. this way the transition from countertop to the area inside the AVSIKT does nto have a step..

Is this possible stock.. will the rolltop go all the way down? Do I need to cut the bottom 3/4" of the sides of the box to make this happen? If I have multiple AVSIKT next to each other I can secure the sides of one to the other with screws.

Another question, has anyone used the wider (33") rolltops from the EFFECTIV office collection in the kitchen? It looks like they have boxes with the bottom open, giving a wider appliance garage....looks like they might be shorter, which could limit what you can put in them. Does anybody know what the opening size of this would be.

Oh, Wow! I'm sorry this got by with no response!

I don't have a roll-front, but I don't see why you couldn't install it without the bottom. IIRC, the bottom of the bottom is flush with the bottom of the sides so that the sides go all the way to the counter anyway, right?

I'm going to move your post over to assembly and installation so that some of our veteran gurus can give it a look. I hope you get the info you need!
