Perfekt shelf installation and hinge placement

Hi again,

I'm getting nervous...finally my contractor says he will be installing cabs this week!!! I've read so much here, I feel like I want to stand over his shoulder and give him all the tips I've learned here!!!(wouldn't he love that!) He has never installed an Ikea kitchen before...but I gave him the CD and he said he'd watch it.

Today I assembledmy last cabinet...I have a Perfect shelf unit at the end of the run of wall cabinets that ends at the dining area. The directions seem to iondicate that you screw into it from the adjacent cab (there are no holes for this in the Perfekt unit) and also show 2 screws just below the top to go into the wall (again no predrilled holes). How do these screws get hidden?

Also, I haven't screwed in any of the hinges for the doors yet. What holes are used for ganging the cabs together and which ones for the hinges?

Got at least 15" of the white stuff here in CT!

Typically the second and third hole from the bottom and top are used by the hinge plates, for ganging the fourth or fifth hole should be safe (usually no shelves here). For the Perfekt unit:the screws will show, but most of them will be from the inside of the adjacant cabinet.
