Question putting up Levanger mirror and EKHOLMEN mirror cabinet

Hi, I am trying to hang the above in my living room and bathroom respectively.
My question:
Has anyone put up a Levanger mirror before? Do you think the FIXA screws (the second longest) and plugs are strong enough to hold up 15kg mirror on two holes? Or do you think I should buy fatter screws from elsewhere? You see, I dread the thought of the screw breaking due to the heavy weight.
Also, there is no instruction on how EKHOLMEN mirror cabinet is to be fitted to the wall. Which kind of screws should I get to hold this heavy cabinet? I reckon the cabinet must be aroung 50kg.
I am mounting both items unto a masonry wall.

Any guide is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: putting up Levanger mirror and EKHOLMEN mirror cabinet

Hi and welcome!

You'll probably need screws specific to your particular wall type. That's why IKEA doesn't include the screws with their stuff, because there's so many different types of walls. If you have masonry, you can get special sleeves that are inserted into a hole you drill into the masonry and then you screw into the sleeve. Check with your local hardware store for the best advice, since they're most likely to know exactly what type of wall you have and what is needed. Just tell them the weights you need to hang and they'll get the right stuff for you!
