Sorry, if this is not the correct section of the forum to post this in, but I need help setting up an Effektiv desk.

I'm in a bind, as we just moved to a new country, but apparently the screws to fasten the desk plate to metal frame of our Effektiv desk, did not survive the move.

The problem is that desk is from 99 and Ikea seemingly do not carry information on products that old.

Can anyone help?

The screws you need are a common IKEA item - they are "item" number 105163, and are used in the assembly of many IKEA beds. If you can't find them at IKEA, you can probably find them at a hardware store or home center near you.

I am based in Switzerland, but the desk was bought buy my fiancee in The Netherlands.

let me know if you are having trouble finding them in Switzerland, we have many desks from the same series and even if we can't find spares I do visit Ikea in Holland quite a lot so I could pick some up for you.
