Re: pull-out base question...
Did you use the screws that came in a set of four in a plastic white holder? Make sure that they are screwed in only the depth directed in the directions.

Re: pull-out base question...
Nancy is right, i've over tightened mine a bit, when i unscrewed it a bit i could then ease the plastic onto it...

Re: pull-out base question...
no, i used the same screws as are used to screw the piece that clips into the drawer box onto the door front. that's what th directions said to do darnit!
i tried adjusting the depth they were screwed in with no luck.
i think i'll try pliers next

Re: pull-out base question...
Oh, yuk, I also used the wrong screws when I installed my tall pullout, and it was a royal pain. I think you've got to switch to those sharp skinny screws that come attached to the plastic (as Nancy said), or it just won't work.

Re: pull-out base question...
In the BPO instructions there are a list of screws with part numbers, maybe you can narrow it down from that.

Re: pull-out base question...
The BPO instructions, template, and screws are in the rationell drawer FRONT kits (not the drawer, as you might expect). You don't actually use the drawer front, just the above. The screw # is 108530, and that head of the top screw which slips into the side rod is to be kept 7 mm (1/4 inch) above the plane of the door. These screws come packaged in sets of four, in a white plastic holder. The deep drawer fronts have two sets (8) and the shallow fronts have one set (4). You need six per BPO.
If your hole is now too big, I have bought a tite loc glue before that will help a lose screw to hold.
The BPO instructions start on page 8 of the rationell drawer FRONT instructions, steps 8-16.
If you actually use a rationell drawer front elsewhere, you can find the necessary screws and template in that package- don't have to go out and buy a new one if you have enough of the screws. You can also ask at Ikea customer service for a few of them.

Re: pull-out base question...
Perhaps yours were mispackaged? Do you have any other drawer front packages to look in? They are definitely skinny and have a pointy tip- the picture is on page 3 of the drawer front instructions. All of my drawer fronts had them in the white strips of plastic. If you are too far from Ikea, I can send you some of my extras. Let me know. Good luck!
Oh- I just re-read your previous post. The screws to attach the wood drawer fronts to the drawers are different They are fatter, have a blunt end, come in the drawer kit (not the drawer FRONT kit), and are # 100325. Perhaps you were using these? It's really confusing as they attach to the same piece of hardware
