So far, absolutely the only thing I have found missing was two of those little double-ended screw thingees you put into the corners of the cabinet sides... you then lock them into place with the round open-back screw thingees (boy, I'm doing a superb job of describing all this). I will see if I can dig up a picture.
Anyway, I stole two from another cabinet to get me through the one I was working on, but I haven't the faintest idea how I might go about getting more (especially considering my inability to name or describe them!).
When we were returninga scratched door and they weren't busy we mentioned that we were missing a few pieces. The clerk got us a big baggie full of parts... In the seattle store's return section there's also a wall of "parts" for people who are missing things. You might check in your store for something similar. If all else fails, HD might have the same stuff, I'm not sure.

catmom -- if you tell me the exact length of your "thing", I'll pull some out of my bag o'tricks. I have about a thousand of those things, but if I'm not mistaken, they're all different sizes. Let me know which one is yours, and I'll package a couple up and get them on their way to you. Unless of course, IKEA is quicker.

Those are the cams that go in the camlocks. You can get replacements at Home Depot or Ace hardware type places, in the section with all the little screws and bolts. Bring yours with you to make sure you get the proper size.
oh, I feel so much better having a NAME for it... I was picturing myself in the hardware aisle at HD, sounding like a blubbering idiot, while the clerk is thinking "women... couldn't she have sent her husband here instead?"
I will search them out tonight! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the internet and this forum? A life saver...
got 'em!... Lowes had ones that were a little too small, but HD had the right length... the package called them cam connector bolts.
Unfortunately, the heads on the HD ones were a little larger than the IKEA ones... but they did work with some fiddling -- except for the VERY LAST ONE IN THE ENTIRE KITCHEN!! But luckily we found one of the original missing ones (they weren't missing, just lost under a sea of cardboard boxes!)
So far, the absolute only wrong thing on Ikea's part has been one screw that we were given an incorrect one for -- but it was the same width, so it worked anyway.
I am totally amazed at the accuracy of not only the staff at the store (who did not miss or go wrong on one single item on the entire kitchen and bathroom order), and the warehouse folks (who, as mentioned above, substituted one incorrect screw out of an entire kitchen and bathroom worth of hardware, parts, pieces, etc.)
