A few questions:
* Are you including a dishwahser in there? I don't see one, but could be wrong.
* Are you putting a coverpanel on the end base cabinet that's below the corner in question? What is "behind" the corner base cabinet, between that cabinet and the next bank of cab's?
* How 'bout foregoing the cabinets over there (in the corner in question) and putting in a pantry instead, then bringing out cabinets in an "L" shape over by what I presume will be your sink?
I agree with WrenX, if you use the appropriate screws to mount the corner piece, that should be sufficient to hold it. If you're really concerned, you could always mount the neighboring cab's to the wall even more securely. That being said, I still wouldn't put anything TOO heavy in the corner. |
