Well as many of you know Adel white is not a pure white. It does have a slight Ivory/Grey Hue to it. My challenge right now is picking a paint colour for my trim that will match the Adel white. Normally I am partial to pure whites, but unfortunatley going with a pure white will cause my cabinets to look yellowed. What have other people chosen for their trim paint colour?

At this point and time I am leaning towards Benjamin Moore CC-70 Dune White, but even this is a bit off.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would take a drawer front (or door) to your local paint store and have them scan it and do a custom color of it. While I'm positive there's a matching paint color out there, this is way, way, way easier.

Well I gave that a try today, and unfortunately the paint they mixed come out too pure of a white. It needs a touch more yellow and black in order to get it right. The guy at the paint store indicated that even scanning it, because the surface of the door was sheen, it would not get an accurate read. I painted my windows as soon as I got the paint home, and am not too happy with the result. Looks like I will be going back to the store!

Matching Adel White w/ Paint?

I used the Ralph L Studio White in my kitchen - needed to match some existing cabinets with my new Adel White island and cabinets and it turned out about as well as one could expect. I liked it enough that I used it on my baseboard/door trim as well. The only problem I have run into with Adel White is matching the dishwasher, oven and fridge. The appliance whites are much more "white" than Adel white. Oh well, you can't have it all!
