Re: Subway Tile
I'm also interested in purchasing subway tile for a backsplash. I wonder if anyone knows how much the white subway tile backsplash at ikea is? I went to Home Depot and priced some out but can't seem to find the price of the ones at ikea - can't find on website and phone calls don't get very far. I think they might come in a sheet? Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Subway Tile
Hi Ted,
I'm not sure? Is that the only white subway tile backsplash ikea has? Or are there other options? I mean, if this is it - then, OK - price is right there - haha. But I wasn't sure if they had other white subway tiles for backsplash at ikea..?

Re: Subway Tile
Fastbo isn't actually tiles, it's a printed sheet of melamine.
Ikea does not sell tiles so if you're looking for real tiles
then Home Depot or a tile store is where you should look.

Re: Subway Tile
I have no idea how to install the white subway tile and I don't intend to try to do that by myself, so my question is - do IKEA offer an installation service together with the tiles or do I need to find someone to do that?

Re: Subway Tile
Marvin, you'll have to select tile at a store other than Ikea. Most stores will be able to suggest tile installers who would do the work for you.

Re: Subway Tile
Have you gotten your subway tile installed yet? If you haven't ordered any yet I would suggest checking out these subway tile backsplash pictures to get an idea of what you want the finished product to look like. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Re: Subway Tile
Also you can save money with Glass Subway Tile Peel & Stick. These tiles don't require setting material and once it is grouted, you can remove from the wall. There are many colors available to choose from.
