Has anyone mounted the tops of the Imperative panels using something other than the ugly top rail? I'm thinking about using a bottom rail on top instead.

Honestly, I would recommend getting real stainless steel rather then using the panels from IKEA. The backing on the panels causes them to stick out, which is not desired in a backsplash installation. I would seriously just go toa sheet metal shop and have them cut pieces to your specs, and then use LIQUID NAILS to glue them to your walls.

I just installed the 30 x 24 sized panel behind my stove. We wanted to use something other than the rails from IKEA. While in the bathroom washing my hands, I looked up at the mirror brackets ~ VOILA! I will try and post a picture.

I know this is an old thread but wow! your kitchen is beautiful!! I'm thinking of putting Caeserstone Cement counter tops in my kitchen and I am trying to get as many reviews from people with the product as I can before making my final decision. I've read horror stories, some people claim they've had many issues with chipping, pitting, stains/discoloration, cracks and etc. Have you had any issues? Thank you so much for your time, I greatly appreciate it.
