We are almost done amd I can't decide on a backsplash
Here is what we have now
Adel birch doors, SS appliances

and the walls are benjamin moore


Tan brown granite countertops.


should I continue with the same terracota type colors on the backsplash or go for something different? Maybe coffe color or somesort of brown to bring out the brown from the floor tiles?
I really like the mosaic tiles but not sure if it will work in the busy kitchen. will the grout get stained a lot and require a lot of cleaning. I was thinking on putting a stainless steal sheet behaind the range ( I have a slide in so I don't want the mosaic going behaind it) but how do you connect the two?
I got this broan ss backsplash from lowes but it is very thin.
Any advice? I will try to get the whole kitchen pictures tonight if I can dig the camera from the mess

Hrm...it's tough to say, indeed. you're right that the pattern of the tan brown countertop could be busy against a mosaic kind of backsplash. I think I would go for something medium-dark and solid colored. Not too dark, but something down the middle, to draw the dark counter and the light cabinets together.

I like the looks of the darker 4" tile (the one on the left). I think the mosaic, or even alternating the darker and lighter tiles would draw away from that beautiful countertop.

btw, I love the way you framed out the top of the sink; did you use matching cover panels?

Yes I did used the cover panels.
