Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting, so I hope this works!
Anyway, we are putting in an Adel Medium Brown kitchen in a galley kitchen space with one window opening. In order to lighten up the space, we're thinking of using a Ceasarstone countertop either in Nougat or Misty Carrera ( i like the honed look). We're in northern NJ and have gone to marble.com but the price seems kind of steep. Anyone have recommendations on other granite/ceasarstone sources that could be less expensive?
Thanks for your help.
In my old house, I had granite countertops and we sealed once every year. Last year, we moved to a new house, and we gutted the kitchen and put in IKEA cabinets.
We decided that sealing the granite is not what we looking forward to do every year so we opted using quartz instead. Its been a year since we had our quartz countertops, and we are glad we had chose quartz over granite. The kids love it since they don't have to clean up after themselves as they were instructed with the granite.
Loving the discussion on countertops (My fave)
There are so many choices for countertop materials (Wikipedia is pretty exhaustive on the topic), have you considered recycled glass?
If cost were not so important, I would recommend Cambria, great product, unparalleled color choices.
I would definitely choose manufactured over natural stone though.
Price range seems to hold in the $70s per square foot(includes template/installation). Catch an Ikea 20% off sale, and youd be looking at closer to $60. That's tough to beat.
