Opinion Request

I finished putting up the tile backsplash (about eight months after the kitchen, whoops!) last night. And while admiring my handiwork, a light bulb went off.

(obviously, I finished the wall on the left, too )

What about continuing the tile work inside of the glass cabinet? I'd pull the flimsy white board off the back, and attach directly to drywall. I think it might look nice, but wonder if anyone's done something similar and has photos to share?

Re: Opinion Request

I think that would look really nice. I don't know about whether or not it is a problem to remove the back from the cabinets, though.

Even if you don't put tile there, painting the back of the cabinet to match the color of the tile or grout would be beautiful.
