That is a UL Listing marking. It means that it can be installed in indoor, dry locations. If it doesn't have a sticker that says "Suitable for Damp Locations", I would think twice about installing it in a bathroom that is small with little ventilation (like mine). Most bathrooms, well-ventilated, would probably be fine. In our bathroom, we installed fittings marked "Suitable for Wet Locations"!
I should qualfy that to say that above a shower definitely is a 'wet location'.
