I want to use the oval hollviken on my existing powder room vanity. The vanity is a standard 25x19. What should I use for a countertop? Has anyone used any of the IKEA countertops or even one of their laminate shelves?? I would love a creative idea!!! Thanks

How about staining and sealing one of the wood countertops? If sealed properly, water splashing here and there wouldn't be an issue (and it's not as if you're going to be cutting on it). The Numerar countertops could look nice, too. Not sure about other shelves, but the Lack laminate shelves are hollow, i believe, which is why they don't hold a lot of weight (that, and they're kinda shallow for a countertop). One of the table tops might work, as well, if you can find the right size.

A couple things I forgot to mention that might help with ideas. My vanity is a very dark chocolate brown maybe even java. I am looking to keep the counter small, not much bigger than the vanity. Thanks again!! I'm not very creative so I just need a jump start!!!
