Hi!
This is my firts thread in IF, sorry for my english but...
I would like to do a Pax wardrobe like first pic that I attached, where "A" is a normal wardrobe with a mirror, "B" is a pax corner solution and "C" is another normal wardrobe. "D" is a Billy for my shoes.
The room measureres are 178x170, there are no doors.
Someone could tell me what, how many pieces needs to do this solution?
Thank you very much!
Hi, and welcome to Ikeafans! It's always fun to add to our list of international members.
I'm not sure what you mean by "normal wardrobe". The design looks like it could be done completely with Pax, including the shoe shelves. At least in the US, Pax comes in deep and shallow cabinets. The shallow ones are perfect for installing the shoe trays, or just shelves. The benefit of using all Pax would be that the bases and heights would all match, and I'm not sure that's possible with a mix of Billy, Pax and normal. Hope this helps a little!
Billy, for my shoes.
I know that is not possible to link Billy & Pax. I wanna use it separated because there's no space for one more "normal" element...
Just like for the kitchen, there is a planner tool for laying out your PAX components. You can put in the internal pieces, drawers, etc. and the tool creates a shopping list for you.
Since I don't speak Italian I couldn't find it on the Italy site, but I did find it on the UK site so the measurements are the right format.
The Pax displays I've seen with the corner unit are set up the same as in your drawing. If the measurements work for your space (I don't have those in metric, but the online catalogue would), you should be able to use a corner unit with a regular unit on each side.
The planner I used had a corner piece. It's a special extra cab that you have to attach to the 100cm cab. In fact when I was playing around
w
/ the AUS version of the tool before they had a US version I had no idea why I kept getting the error message that said I needed a 100cm unit.
It would be great if you could figure out how to use the planner because the corner unit requires some extra space (can't remember which way) that the planner forces you to include.
W definition
W is a wall cabinet designation, as in W18, can be a stand-in for Wide, or when followed by a / stands for With.
