This is probably step one of a multi-step process. Through a divorce, we've lost the metal bolts that hold together an IKEA bunk bed. We'd like to get replacement ones but they can't help us at the store. I'd post something in the swap/exchange forum, but I can't even give the name of the bed. Here's what I know about it:
- 2 single wooden beds which can be stacked to make bunk beds
- probably from the early 1980s
- very "square" shaped (i.e. no rounded shapes)
- head board and foot board have horizontal cross pieces
- had a detachable ladder than hung from the side of the top bunk
- had slats that could be rolled up (i.e. not the solid ladder-style they sell now)
- had a detachable side piece to keep from rolling off the bunk
Please let me know if there's any other information that might be helpful. Thanks.
