Add-On Corner Unit for Pax

Hi to all Ikea Fans!!!
I'm thick when it comes to these things and I just can't figure this out! This is driving me nuts!
Can I place the Pax Add-On Corner Unit, 20 1/2W x 93 1/8"H x 18 3/4" D right next to a Pax wardrobe that is 39 1/4" W x 93 1/8" H x 14 5/8D ?
Will the depth of the Add-On Corner Unit overlap the depth of the Pax Wardrobe?
Does anyone know of something else that I can use as a Corner Unit that will look somewhat uniform standing in a corner next to a Pax of this shallow depth ?
What I'm trying to find is a corner unit with a mirrored door (or doors) that does not look too out of place with the rest of the wardrobe.
Any ideas, suggestions, opinions and comments are really very much appreciated, so thank you so very much!!!!-Gina7

Re: Add-On Corner Unit for Pax

I have the corner unit installed on a 39" wide deep unit. The 39" wide unit is 23 3/4" deep to the front of the door, and the corner unit is 19 3/4" deep to the front of the door.

If you place the corner unit next to a shallow wardrobe you will have to make sure the door of the shallow wardrobe opens fully against the side of the corner.

Re: Add-On Corner Unit for Pax

Hi Eva, thank you for answering my question. I don't know, but I guess if you can add the corner unit onto a wardrobe of 23' in depth, then the corner unit (at least the 18" depth) can't be added onto the wardrobe of 14" depth?
I'm still not sure. Why wouldn't they make a corner unit for the shallow depth wardrobe (14" depth), yet they made it so narrow (18" depth)?
I'm still looking for answers to this and my other two questions regarding this project.
Again, Thank you for answering.

Re: Add-On Corner Unit for Pax

Technically you probably could since it is just attached with angle irons across the top and bottom half of the larger wardrobe. The real issue is the door size on the larger side half. I imagine there aren't any skinny doors that would work on the narrower width wardrobe.
