Well, luckily, I've spent the last year or thereabouts trying to build a system where we can help clarify things like this, so we can help each other by building better instructions
as a community.
It's going to take me weeks/months to get the rest of the instructions that we've been able to gather converted over to this format, but for now I can certainly knock out specific ones if someone has a problem!
Anyway, take a look at the revised page
FREDRIK Workstation (Computer desk) Instructions
You should be able to
1. Click on the page of the instructions that doesn't make sense.
2. Then click the yellow button and draw a box around the specific *part* of the instructions that's giving you a problem. Give your note a name and *brief* description then click "OK"
3. That will take down to a new post where you can explain in detail what's causing you trouble and/or what doesn't make sense. You can use text, images, video, whatever would work best to get across the problem.
If it's causing trouble for you, I'm sure others are (or will) have the same problem! We're all about setting things up so IKEAFANS can help each other, so hopefully this new system will enable us to build better instructions.
