Image Title: my handbag closet (room) filled with IKEA Description: here are some pictures of a special room that I set up to store all my designer handbags (mostly Louis Vuitton, but some Prada, Coach, Michael Kors, etc).
To store my bags, I used several BILLY bookcases with glass doors (white), placed on the walls of the room. For a more fancy look, I replaced plain wooden door knobs of the glass doors with crystal ones. Inside the bookshelves I store my purses in their dustbags, to keep out dust/sunlight (on the bags I put a picture of the bag inside to avoid confusion). The last couple pics show the inside of the bookcases with the bags taken out of their dustbags.
On the room's window I put in simple LILL curtains, and to fill the room up more I also I added a HEMNES day bed (with OFELIA BLAD pillows), and a HEMNES dressing table, along with some small square photo frames.
I'm pretty much finished with this room, the last thing I want to add is the HEMNES bedside table, the circular one, and on top of it i will put a cherry blossom lamp. Also a few small photo frames above the day bed.

i can say it's the first handbag room we've seen.
after such detail and thought i have to ask, did you use ikea through the rest of your house?

^ yep, definitely did use IKEA in the rest of the house! with the exception of our master bedroom and our dining tables, almost everything in here (sofas, desks, closet) is from IKEA. I will try to post pics of those areas (living room, closet, office) as well.
