We're looking at the PAX line to use as master closet organization in our 90 year-old house. Living near the Gulf Coast, the house is off the ground on piers and there's not a single room in the house that has truly flat floors. In fact, the weight of the PAX units are likely to cause changes in the floors nearby. I know because I recently ripped out a cast iron tub and ceramic tile bathroom to update it, and after I did the demo, doors in the area closed diferently! After I put new stuff in, it went back to the way it was!! And yes, it's solid underneath -- we've had foundation guys come out to tell us that it's just the way old houses are...
Our rough configuration is shown in the screen clip, using three 39x93frames, a corner unit, & a 19x93 unit. With 11ft+ ceilings, height is not an issue (and we plan on putting wall cabinets atop the wardrobe units).
To the best I can tell, there's no adjustment for leveling with the PAX units. How have you dealt with leveling of units on uneven floors?
